About Me!

About Me

I am a Cloud Architect with 19 years of experience in designing, building, and managing enterprise infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and private cloud environments. My journey began with deep Linux system administration and hands-on telecom infrastructure work, and over time evolved into architecting scalable, automated, and cloud-driven solutions.

In the early phase of my career, I worked extensively in telecom environments where I was involved in hardware integration, racking, and cabling of servers, storage, and network equipment at client datacenters and Mobile Switching Centers (MSCs). This experience gave me a strong foundation in understanding how large-scale infrastructure is physically built and operated, allowing me to see the complete picture—from hardware to operating systems to applications.

Over the years, I have worked on mission-critical environments across telecom and enterprise domains, handling everything from bare-metal systems to fully automated cloud infrastructure. My core strength lies in bridging traditional infrastructure with modern cloud and DevOps practices using Infrastructure as Code, automation, and well-architected design principles.

Today, I focus on helping organizations modernize their infrastructure by building secure, scalable, and highly available systems across Azure and AWS.

My Core Expertise

  • Cloud Architecture: Microsoft Azure & AWS
  • Linux Infrastructure: RHEL, SUSE, HP-UX
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform
  • Automation: Ansible, Shell Scripting
  • VMware Private Cloud & Hybrid Cloud Design
  • Datacenter Infrastructure: Server, Storage & Network Hardware Integration
  • Telecom Infrastructure: Datacenters & Mobile Switching Centers (MSCs)
  • Identity & Access Management: SSSD, Active Directory Integration
  • High Availability, Disaster Recovery & System Resilience
  • Cloud Migration & Modernization Strategies

My Journey

I began my career working at the core of Linux systems—handling installations, troubleshooting, and managing critical production environments. Alongside this, I gained hands-on experience in telecom infrastructure, performing hardware integration, racking, and deployment of servers, storage, and networking equipment in datacenters and Mobile Switching Centers (MSCs). This exposure helped me build a strong, ground-level understanding of infrastructure beyond software, covering the complete lifecycle from physical setup to system operations.

As environments grew more complex, I moved into leading teams, designing solutions, and driving large-scale infrastructure projects including migrations, performance optimization, and system transformations.

With the rise of cloud and DevOps, I expanded into AWS and Azure, integrating automation and Infrastructure as Code into enterprise ecosystems. Today, I operate as a Cloud Architect, combining deep infrastructure knowledge with modern cloud practices to design efficient, scalable, and resilient solutions.

Key Achievements

  • Architected and implemented automated infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Ansible, enabling consistent and repeatable deployments across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Designed and supported enterprise workloads on VMware private cloud and public cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Led infrastructure modernization initiatives, including migration from traditional datacenter environments to cloud-based architectures
  • Delivered end-to-end infrastructure solutions spanning hardware setup, virtualization, and cloud automation
  • Implemented secure identity and access solutions using Azure Entra ID, Active Directory and SSSD across multiple environments
  • Streamlined patching and compliance processes for Linux systems, improving security posture and operational efficiency
  • Played a critical role in handling major incidents and disaster recovery scenarios, ensuring business continuity within defined RTOs
  • Contributed to building scalable infrastructure strategies aligned with cloud architecture best practices

Certifications

  • HashiCorp Terraform Associate Certification
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) – Ansible
  • AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate
  • IBM Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture
  • Kyndryl Community Engineer Champion

Client Success Manager, Interlaced

“I worked with CJ around Nov, 2009, at that time I worked as a systems/software engineer at HP and together with our partner to deliver OCMP solutions (CRBT) to our customer in Greater Noida. CJ worked as a project engr at PC solutions. He was young, full of enthusiasm and fast learning; also, he was quiet and easy-going. He was friendly to me and we became friends during my staying in India.
Thank you, CJ! I wish you a bright future and a happy life! Hope to meet you again if there is any chances.”
